Almost all my information on
Careers has been invalidated by the recent patch. I've got to go back and rewrite information on ideal moods and promotion requirements. I am glad they made some positive changes to some of the strange/difficult promotion requirements, but of course a little annoyed at what this means on my end. I'll have to rewrite all the paragraphs for each Career and both branches to make information accurate again.
The days and hours Sims work and what you get for promotions have not changed. While I'm focusing on this, it will lead to improvements in the Careers section overall. It is the most popular on the site, so I want it to be more useful to readers. I'll be putting in a table with comparison of top level careers from both branches for players. Total money a week, days off and total number of hours worked to get that money and rank them by most profitable. I'll also throw in ideal moods and the skills you need to get there. It should be a great resource for planning your Sims and make it much simpler than bouncing around from page to page.
This would be a good time to propose any suggestions for other information to include in the table. It will take several days for me to finish everything, but I'll update here when I'm done
