I recently went out to a dive bar. My sim tried a few different drinks and one of them was called a crazy something, I forgot, but I noticed that one of his traits changed for about 2-3 hours. The ambitious trait changed to daredevil. Since he had like 5-6 drinks, I am unsure which one caused the trait to change.

It is a crazy Mood Drink. Check the mixology guide for the list of those drinks and where you can find them. My sim loves getting one right after work
