Autonomous Gardening for Bots?
« on: December 16, 2014, 02:07:31 PM »
Hi again, I have another question. Is it possible to program the bot to do autonomous gardening? Like it will automatically start gardening when the plants are ready? Right now, I have to click on one and select "tend garden" to get it started. I don't always remember to do that though until I go over to the garden and see it staring out the window or whatever. Thanks!

You need the gardening chip to do that as well as a lot of luck.

I do have the gardening chip installed as well as the efficient chip, but I still need to direct it to actually do the gardening.

I just want to say that right about now, I really miss that macrotastics mod for sims 2 by MATY. That would be sooooo nice about now. Oh well.

I would play with whatever other chips you have installed.  Mine gardens on her own all the time.  However, when I've had other chips installed so there were other things for her to do (like cleaning), I usually had to tell her to go garden.  By the same token, she doesn't clean well when she has other tasks to do (like gardening).  The only one that seems to always "trump" the others is the nanny chip, and then nothing else gets done.
