Influencing Pregnancy Correction

I believe that pregnancy in the Sims 4 CAN be influenced to produce twins or triplets. In my very first Sims 4 household, my girl Sim got pregnant, and she was always reading Children's books. When she gave birth, she had twin girls.

We'd definitely need a lot more trials to see that it's a sure thing, unless you have tested this about 10x. I think it would be a little hasty to edit the guide with that statement until such a thing is done. I thought that a SimGuru said it wasn't possible, but I'm not sure because of my poor memory

Just to say I seem to get twins a lot and I'm not doing anything special. I didn't read childrens books or watch anything, I don't have fertility, etc. Maybe twins are just more common now?

From everything I've read on the official Sims forums, it does seem that twins and triplets are just a lot more common now.  There are even people calling for it to be 'nerfed,' as they feel it's way too common.  (I have no personal experience to back this up, however, as I only very rarely ever 'Try for Baby' and thus far I've not played enough to do so.)

My sim just had twins without reading any children's books.

Yep, after the latest patch twins and triplets are a LOT more common. I think the probability just got raised or something.  I've had two pregnancies resulting in twins and one with triplets (although that was with Fertility reward), but pre-patch I never got multiples.
