Pre-Ordering Late Night

I am a long time forum lurker  . I don't know if this is the right place for this question, if not mods feel free to move.

First off I want to say how excited I am for Late night. It combines all the thing that I loved about the sims and sims 2!

Does anyone know if you pre-order Late Night as a direct download from the EA website (the site that the sims 3 site sends you to when you click to order) if you can download it at midnight? And if not, if I buy it at midnight do I still receive the bonus pre-order items and will I be able to download it right way!

Any info would be great, I want to start playing right away. I can't wait!

I've gone with the download option for all Sims 3 packs except for the original game itself, but I have never done them as pre-orders. This is my first time. It's 9 AM where I am, and the download is not yet available.

Something to add to that question, if you order the actual physical game off the EA site, when do you get that? On Release Day or later?

I think that depends on where it ships from and to. I preordered Ambitions when that came out and got it two days before the release day but it was shipped from like one state over so!

I always pre-order from EA and always get delivery on the release date from UPS.

Well I'm in Canada so I suppose that might explain why I haven't gotten it yet.
