No wedding option for parties..

My married couple sims are old and one day grim came for wifey and she had a death flower she traded so she lived. Then later grim came for hubby and the dog saved him (which blew my mind btw I had never seen that!) But, now they're not married anymore they are fiancé. But when I try to use the phone to have a party there is no option to have a wedding. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a quick fix to make them married again? That's all I really care about. Thanks for the help!

Just have a private wedding. Does that option still appear?

No. Click on the sim that you want to marry and the option Have Private Wedding will show up.

Okay I just shut down for the night but I don't remember seeing that option, but I wasn't looking for it either. I'll check in the morning. Do you know if they have to be flirting and such for the option to show?

So traveling to France brought up the private wedding option. However, when the woman walked over to him she stopped, made the thought bubble that says I can't get to that, but there was nothing around, and the action cancelled. Now the option is not there . :(

I was able to throw a wedding party in France and they got happily married. Thanks for the advice!
