Cannot connect to the gallery

For the first few weeks of owning TS4 I could connect to the gallery just fine, then all of a sudden it stopped. It says I am offline and when I try to connect it just gets stuck in a loop. I have removed my mods, turned off my firewall, allowed TS4 in the firewall-antivirus, turned everything on and off, closed background processes, everything short of completely reinstalling.

Does anyone have any ideas/is having a similar problem?

You can't get into the gallery when offline.  To go back online go into Origin, click the "Origin" button at the top left hand corner.  Go down about 7 lines of words.  It should say, in your case, "Go online".  Click on that and you should then be able to go into your game playing online and able to access the gallery.  Since I'm playing a dynasty, and only a dynasty at the moment, I have to do the reverse and go offline to play.

Sorry I should have specified in the original post, but origin says I AM online, which is part of the frustration. I am online in every way it is possible to be online, except in game.

Thank you for adding that bit of information. I had tried to search for a tip and wasn't able to find anything at the time. But since noting you were online, but the game says your offline.

Although that looks similar to the issue I am having, I don't get an error message from origin at all. Origin itself is online, it is only the game itself that is unable to connect

Ah okay. So I searched on what you gave me. And this is what I found =

Sounds like there are a few people that have run into the problem as well. It looks like the suggested fix is to talk with an EA Game Advisor.

Yes I have tried that four times now. They said they would send my case on to a specialist more than a month ago and I haven't heard anything. So frustrated right now.

Since it's been a month or more since you've talked with them. It maybe worth a shot to try to contact them again about the problem.
