Deleting Sims from the Sim bin

I was wondering if there was a way to delete sims/sim families from the sim bin. I'm not ever going to use them again and they're taking up memory space that I could use for other sim families.

Go to your sims 3 file - the one in documents - and go to Saved Sims. Then delete the ones you don't want! Done.

Hi ElfQueen,

In CAS, click on the Premade Sims button. (6 Sim shadows button) [Lower left of screen.]
To show to your custom Sims click the star * in the right corner of the Sim Bin.
Select the sim you want to delete. Then click the delete button (trash can) down in the lower left, near the "Share" button.

And just like Lisa said. Outside of the game go to your Sims 3 folder and look for the SavedSims folder and find the Sims you want to delete.

> Documents > Electronic Arts > Sims 3 > SavedSims

Either way will delete the Sim person or people from your game.

By "sim bin", do you mean the "pre-made  sims" bin in CAS, or the "household bin" in Town Editor?

If the former, follow what @MrsFlynn wrote.

If the latter: Go to Town Editor, click on the household you want to delete. On the pop up panel, click on the trashcan icon.
