Saving only one Sim to the gallery

Ok, this is a weird question, but one I haven't been able to find an answer to.  I haven't done as much with saving and all that, but I know how to save a full family, but is there a way to save a single Sim to the gallery rather than the whole family?  I think I know a work around of moving someone out and saving them that way, but was hoping there was an easier way that I just wasn't seeing.

You will need to save the whole family to Manage Households. Then from there, you'll want to split the new Sim out into their own household.
