Door Bug?

This has happened in several different games now, and several different houses. A sim comes to visit me, walks in to the house, and then knocks on the door. If I click on the sim, I get the option to "invite in." Is this a bug, or am I doing something incorrectly? I reversed the door in build mode thinking maybe there is a true front and back side to it, but it still happens. Is this user error? It isn't really impacting game play, but it's so goofy!

Grabbing the door in build mode and turning it in the opposite direction worked as a temporary fix for me. Of course, now my sim has to walk around the door to get into the house, but hey. Whatever works, right?

Hopefully they fix it soon.
