I'd much rather they fix the base game problems first. It hasn't been out that long, and now they've got some DLC coming out? I'm not giving EA any more of my money until my base game works like a $90 game should.

From what I have seen by people today gnome were introduced into sims as magical creatures that trick you. I personally think it's a patch to put gnomes in more the way they were. Which would fit all the scary and spooky hints and massive amounts of gnome puns on twitter. It is probably content that wasn't ready when the game launched.

Although I do get your point if they work like most companies the bug fixes and content release are two separate teams. Sometimes they work hand in hand but I will say that bug fixes usually come first.

This is doubtful.  They may announce one, but normally in the life cycle of a new Sims series, it usually takes around 6 months for the first Expansion pack.

It would have been nice if they released some male hairstyles that didn't look like lumps of clay molded to look like hair, or something else that is actually useful.
