+Confident

I just started a Sim in the Secret Agent career. My question is, what can I have him do in the morning before work to give him the +Confident mood he needs?

I have the Sims 3 reward lamps and some +Confident gems but those don't last that long.

Just before he goes to work, use the mirror and perform "psyched self up" interaction.

Ahh, thank you so much. I knew their was something easy to do but I never thought about the mirror and Charisma skill!

I had my sim 'psych self up' using the mirror, then eat, then used the mirror again and it more than doubled how long the confident emotion lasted. It's not really necessary if you are off to work but quite useful for at home tasks.

Brushing your teeth on a sink is also a fast way to get Confident.

Have your confident painter paint a confident painting

A cup of tea Earl Grey + 2 confident for 4 hours.

Dunno if this the right place but when my sim's emotion shifted to confident he had to go use the bathroom.  So instead of clicking on the toilet's action command USE instead the action command pops up as PEE LIKE A CHAMPION.  If there's more little stuff like this I think I'm going to like The Sims 4 more and more.  Has any of you come across like this or anything similar with the other emotions?

There's another quick way to gain confidence, but it requires two points in logic and for a plant to be growing, or for a collectible to be nearby.  Taking a slide from the plant or getting any other collectible gives +1 confidence for four hours.

Hmm I was in that situation many times and never got the + confidence. Are you sure that this is not some trait also related?

You're right.  My Sim was getting this because she's a geek.
