Treasure maps

What exactly do the treasure maps do? Are they worth using?

Do you mean the ones you dig up from rocks? Next time you dig, you get the options to dig or dig for treasure. If you dig for treasure, you get one of the little statues.. can't think of the name off hand...My Sims?

So basically all they do is guarantee you'll get a capsule with a My Sim statue? :( I wish they made them at least a little bit more exciting. They could make them rarer, and whenever you use one you are guaranteed to find something missing from your collection. THAT would be way better.

yes, that's all they do. I agree, not really a treasure because they are so easy to get if you have a collector. maybe as the game develops, they might have more plans for them.. we can only hope.
