question about forum rules regarding mods

Hi again.

This is a question about mods if I download objects sims and lots from third party sources that are not owned or affiliated by the sims 3 without touching the scripting at all like I downloaded a large tv offline and other objects are those still considered mods?

If scripting and gameplay is unaffected, then those downloads fall into the realm of simply Custom Content.
