Gallery erases objects?

I downloaded a house off the gallery and found that some of the objects had been deleted once I was in game. For example, the stairs were missing and I didn't know where to place new ones. Also, new walls had been added (that weren't there before) that blocked the stairwell and I could not delete them with the sledgehammer. Is there a reason for this?

It could be that some of the objects were custom content. The gallery does it that way so as to protect your game and your computer from possibly being corrupted by unwanted custom content. You will have to check the description to see if the creator lists the custom content used if you want to download them and have them in your game.

There is also a move object mod available and if this has been used on the house, then ksome things will not load properly if you don't have the mod installed. I think your best option is to go back to the gallery and look at the description of the house to see if there are any notes or to contact the creator through the comments.

Thanks, you guys. I did fix the problem (did you know if you turn a house to the side it'll delete objects in the way? Because I didn't...) But thanks for the help!

OK, that's a good thing to know. There are a few little bugs with rotating lots placed from the library or gallery.
