@Drazard,

What is your writing skill level at?  I am asking as my Celebrity Chef had to write a cook book, but before that option would appear, I had to have him practice writing to build up his skill level. 

And I believe that both the bar guide and the cook book will show as separate items when you click on 'write' as in your picture below.  They will not be found under genre (at least not that I remember).
