OOooooo!  I like it!  I'm so horrible with colors I always appreciate it when someone can take a bold color and make it look cozy and comfy as opposed to loud.  It's really chic.

Thanks :)  I'm enjoying doing the outside work more and more.  With Sims 3, the pools were just there to fill out the back yard.  I couldn't be bothered clicking all over to make them swim.  With Sims 4, it's so much more fun!

I'm the same as Joria about the colors. I tend to stick to earthy colors like yellows and browns more often than I like. Your color selection is refreshing to my eyes. Lovely house Dellena.

I wanted something that would look very beachy.  I think the sofa was the main inspiration and everything flowed from that piece.

I might try that technique one of these days. Find a particular object that I would like to use, and build around it. I guess the other furniture selection, as well as color, will flow from that point onward.
