Tomatoes and Lemons- Willow Brook?

Hi, Thank you Carl for all you do. You are the definitive authority. I can't find Tomatoes or Lemon trees in Willow Brook and I have looked and looked. What am I doing wrong? Thanks anyone for your help. My Sim can't cook half the recipes. She is a collector too, but can't find these two fruits. Thanks for help.

Some plants only grow in one world. You need to travel to get them.

You don't have to take the whole family, just the one gathering things.  Go to the Oasis world, (forgot the name).  You should find lemon tree and tomato plants in the area where the cheaper houses are but you may have to travel more than once.  Sometimes the plants aren't ready to be harvested first time around.  Also, have you tried buying seeds?

Tomatoes -- Oasis Springs, up the road from Slipshod Mesquite (the home that looks like a trailer) are planter boxes. There you will find Tomato and some other plants.
Lemons -- Oasis Springs - Across the street from Rattlesnake Juice in the dirt area. Also at end of road by Museum.
