Add to household

I'm lost again.  I'm trying to add people to my household using the testing cheats and the option does not come up any more. I only get "modify in cas", " cheat need..." and "reset object". Any help would be appreciated.

Once you go to 'modify in CAS', you can use the little + sign down the bottom next to where your sims little portrait is when you're changing their clothes etc and it will add a new sim to your household.

You can also go to 'manage worlds' and just use merge sims window. Or the gallery and just download sims off there into your household.
Hopefully someone will add some screenshots to help you some more.

So if I want to add a neighboring SIM to my household, I just shift click them, go into cas and add them to my household?  I'm not at home or else I would just try it. Thanks again.

What I would do is pause the game, go to Manage Worlds, then when in the map screen click on Household Management (Top Right of screen). Then use the unplayed tab and scroll down till you find the neighbours household. Click on the picture of the household then use the "Transfer Sims Between Households' button. From here you can just click on the sim you want to add to your house.
You don't need cheats to do this unlike TS3. It seems like a lot of steps but once you've done it you'll find it's easy.
