Merging sims, how to move things with them?
« on: October 23, 2014, 04:06:03 PM »
I have 4 households containing 2 sims each (2x2 males, 2x2 females), and I want to merge them to 4 households with one male and one female. Each sims has recieved stuff/gifts from work or dates, and it is in their combined household inventory now. Is there a way to seperate the items between the two sims, so each gets his/her own stuff? I can't move the items to their personal inventory.

That was a difficult task to figure out.. It took a lot of mingling, moving into the opposite houses first, then moving one family to a whole new house, and finally moving into the right houses. But now everybody got their own stuff, yay!

Good job!  I started into working it out (created a new world with aforementioned households) and was about halfway through it :P

Thanks for trying to help, I really appreciate it :) It took me a lot of tries to get it right! Made a test-save-version so I wouldn't mess with the real saved game. I'm just glad the households weren't bigger..
