I married Adam Birch and now the town hates me - Aurora Skies

Hey everybody.

I've got a problem. In Aurora Skies my sim fell in love with and married Adam  Birch. Now I know there's a bug in the game that Adam has a child with a woman he doesn't know. So far, no problem.
However, as soon as Adam and my sim got a child together, the whole town starts to hate us: even people I just meet start of with a dislike. Now, all of a sudden, my sim has the "betrayed" moodlet, even though Adam is in my household (and has been for a while) and definately hasn't been doing any betraying.

Is this because of the child with the unknown sim? Is there anything to solve this issue without losing their relationship?

If your sims have 25,000 Lifetime Happiness points (and if you have the Generations EP), they can buy the Clean Slate reward which resets their reputations, which might help. After that, I don't really know. The reputation system is finicky as all get out. 

Also, do you have any celebrity points and were your sims married before they had the baby? The game's kind of judgy like that where the whole town will like you less for having a baby if you're not already married (or if you flirt with someone who isn't your "only allowed" one romantic interest).
