Promise wishes?

Another thing I'm puzzling over... has anyone found a way to 'promise' wishes so that you can take time to work towards them, as in Sims 3? I find myself struggling to fulfill some of my Sims wishes quickly enough before its gone and she's developed a whole new one!

The colored wish is emotion based, you can't lock it.  You have to finish that wish fast before your emotion changes, you can however cancel that emotion wish and wait for a new emotion based wish to popup.

The next two wishes besides the emotion one are white color, aspiration based wishes.  Those will appear and it will auto lock (auto promised), if you don't want it, you cancel that and wait for new ones to popup.
