Selecting the correct posting area

I'm using tapatalk on my phone and its a forum app. When I post on Carl sims 3 I always post in the console tab but I've had several people to tell me to select the correct one. Is there a problem or something?

No, I think you posted correctly (about the inventing bench fires?). It's just that most people here aren't familiar with the console games and didn't know that it was included with Pets for the console. I think they just wanted to make sure that your question was being answered. I used to play both The Sims 3 and Sims Pets on the console, so I'm more familiar with their ins and outs.
