GameOn Magazine - Sims Edition Interview
« on: August 22, 2014, 12:20:30 PM »
GameOn Magazine recently did an interview with me and published it in their all-Sims issue, which is free to view through the link. You'll also find an interview with Rachel Franklin, Executive Producer of The Sims 4. There are also some funny articles, "So I Burgled a Sim" and the Top 5 Unrealistic Features of Sims... check it out!

Thanks for the link -- the interview was excellent. Incidentally, there will be an entrance to an abandoned mine in the park in Oasis Springs, too, and this one you'll be able to enter if you have maxed Handiness.

Hahah, famous. Maybe a little within the Sims community - but I love what I do and will work hard to provide quality work for the site, along with my great team (Pam and Metro). We will work hard to give you guys solid info on The Sims 4 as quickly as we are able. I want quality over quantity, but at least we always have the ability to edit in new information and strategies as they come.. and of course corrections on mistakes!

Fantastic article!

The Admins of this site may one day be immortal in the Simming community and rightly so, but remember 'we' are here to keep you all 'honest'! By honest I mean if your Sim heads get too big for you Sim bodies someone, somewhere, here! Where it all began will point out the teeniest tiniest error on the guide and deflate those egos! haha

Just kidding, well kinda. I feel like my Sim universe has grown around Carl and Pam (Metro too of course but I've never bee brave enough to try a challenge) and this is my home, CSG (Carls Sims guide) has been my favourite world of all the Sims world.

Long may you reign, long may you prosper (the non geeky give away! live long and prosper)((does the hand gesture))

Thank you to all the Admins and Moderators that make this site what it is and why it will forever be the best place for unbiased, polite and informative conversation!

Your correction of my errors will succeed in keeping my head from growing too large, but I'll end up with the credit - doh!  :-X Seriously, I don't know what i'd do if so many people hadn't helped with emails, comments, and posts here pointing out my many mistakes the past 5 years.. it's been helpful to me to prevent making similar ones, and made the guide better in the end. I didn't 100% this one, but found myself at a loss for time toward the end. I vow to do better on my 3rd attempt to cover an incarnation of this franchise. Thanks for the kind and funny words ;)

I think I can safely say that the majority of people here are more than happy to help.  I've lost count of the number of people I've pointed to your guide when it came to the Sims 3 and I would STILL end up checking a page here and there every week looking for something I've forgotten. :)

Each time I pin out my strategy for one of Metropolis Mans famous challenges, I look through this guide first before I go to Wikipedia :) I just like the style this is written in, so much more than the other :D
