Hi all! I'm Rancom, and I just joined the other day. I've been using the guide to help with Sims for a few years now. I've got a question though, regarding the downloading process:
My sister installed Sims 3 via digital installation on her Mac through the Mac Store, but is no longer able to play it because it lags. That brought up the question of whether or not I'd be able to download it to my computer using her information. I have a pretty new Toshiba laptop running on Windows 8. Earlier today, she gave me the information she used to download Sims. I went to the Mac Store, received the number in the download box option. I then logged into the Sims 3 website to register it/download it onto my laptop. The Sims 3 store said that the serial number was invalid--but it was from the right account and the same exact serial number.
Has anyone else had this problem, of know how to fix it? I've read about receiving the code for $13.00 with proof of the account. Any help is wonderful--thank you so much.
