Uninstall Help?

So, I basically would like to start over entirely-- files and all. I've been having issues with graphics and I'm due for cleaning out my custom content.

I uninstalled the game and reinstalled (with Steam) several times, but it ended up preserving all of my files and presets. Is there a way to restore these files to their original state, or to have new files come with a reinstall?

Try moving your Sims 3 folder to your desktop. Make a backup copy if you like for safe keeping. Then click the play button to make a new Sims 3 folder within your Electronic Arts folder. This should help set the game back to default settings.
