Immaculate conception has occurred.
Seriously. My sim has never woo-hoo'd. She is engaged, but her fiance' doesn't live in the same house. They have kissed and made out, but that's it, and I swear there has never been a time that they could've gone off secretly and woo-hoo'd (is that even possible??)....
But there she was, working her day care shift, and suddenly I hear the "dah dah dah!!" music like something awesome has just happened...and then all the parents show up and pick up their kids. I'm thinking, "Why are the parents picking up their kids early?" My sim changes clothes....and then a notification comes up that she has the next 7 days off for Maternity Leave.
So I reloaded the game, hoping it wouldn't happen again. Hey, her fiance' already has 3 children, and he won't be able to move in with her and her roomies because the house will be too full. So a baby at this point is not a good option. Once again, during the daycare shift, "dah dah dah!" and she's pregnant.
Sigh.
This time I'm letting it play out, and I'm just hoping she will actually have the baby and not stay pregnant forever --- because who knows what could happen with a glitch like this?? One of the roommates will have to move out before she gets married.... which is kindof a bummer. But oh well.
I have looked all over the forums here and elsewhere but can't seem to find a similar situation. Anyone?? Immaculate conception, anyone?
