Help with cleaning out entire files
« on: June 28, 2014, 05:15:59 PM »
I just bought a new laptop and when I installed TS3 I had to edit the Graphics.SGR files because it did not read my graphics card. However, now I have a notepad icon next to it and I can't remove it. Then I tried to delete the files, uninstall and reinstall but there's no change. I see the notepad icon. Is there a way to completely uninstall the game and get the files back before I edited them?
I love The Sims 3/4.

This just means you just associated the default program with it to be notepad. It's totally safe, and fine, it just means when you click on it that it will open in notepad. You didn't change the save-type right? (From .SGR to .somethingelse?) It should be totally fine. It just means that when the game isn't looking at it, it will know to open in notepad for you. It shouldn't change the way it works.
