Game doesn't allow me to play without a CD but doesn't recognize the CD (Mac)

Hello,
So, before I start telling my problem, I'm on Mac OS X Mavericks. I apologize if there are English mistakes, as it isn't my main language (I'm French).
Until I bought my last add-on, my most recent add-on was always a digital download. But recently, I bought the Seasons DVD (which is currently the most recent add-on that I have). I installed it using an external DVD player which uses a Firewire connexion, and nothing went wrong until I started the game and it didn't recognize my DVD, which was used for installing the add-on 10 minutes before. I can't use my internal DVD player as it's broken. So I tried to download my add-on on Origin, but they said that the DVD serial was already used. I tried to uninstall Seasons, but I got an error message saying that the uninstaller may be broken. So I had to manually uninstall the whole game as I don't know how to manually uninstall a single add-on. I tried to download the add-on on Origin again, and they said that the serial was already used again.
So, I would like to find a way to find a free and legal digital download (preferably a DMG file, because ISO files are more complicated to install on Mac), or I would like to start my game without any DVD. I used to play with mods before, but the only mod I saw seems to require to bypass the launcher to start the game, and I would still like to start my game with the launcher. Or if you have other solutions, don't hesitate to tell me, because I'm really stuck right now

For this part of the problem, I would contact EA's customer service. Hubby and I have run into this problem before and if you can prove you bought the game, they should be able to help you with that. We were able to get a new serial # for one of our games.

If live chat is gray, change your country to US and make sure you're on US Business hours. It might also gray because they're very busy. Try later.
