World & LTW suggestions
« on: May 22, 2014, 04:16:32 PM »
Hello everyone! Long story short, I'm going to be breaking off one of my sim's from her household so she can have her own little adventures.

A little information about the sim. She's a fairy, who completed her LTW of Heartbreaker. She's got a few lifetime rewards now, some relating to her LTW and some that I just think a fairy should have. The most important one is "Age Freeze Potion." Yes, she's immortal, permanently frozen at the Young Adult stage (unless I decide to feed her a birthday cake).

Since I'm going to have her start a new life, I'm therefore looking for a few suggestions. I'm also planning to try and turn this into a story to put on the site... but we'll see how well that goes. :) The basic premise is this:

Anna, after outliving her brother, his wife and her nieces and nephews, has decided she's had enough of Roaring Heights. Too many painful memories, and thus time to move on.

Traits.

Flirty
Charismatic
Friendly
Great Kisser
Irresistible

Skills.

Athletic: 5 (She went to the gym a lot with her brother)
Charisma: 5 (Grabbed 1 point and she just leveled up from chatting to people)
Logic: 6 (Played a lot of chess with the family. She actually did this a lot on her own, no interaction from me)
Cooking: 10 (She always cooked for the family)
Handiness: 10 (Everyone else was always working, so she fixed -everything-)
Mixology: 10 (...I kinda left my laptop running by accident, came back and she'd been making drinks after the death of her brother... >_> ...to the point she had passed out tired behind the bar!)
Social Networking: 10 (How I finished the Heartbreaker LTW. Plus I thought a Fairy playing with peoples emotions was thematically appropriate)
Writing: 10 (This is her actual job... self-employed writer)

I haven't really developed much for the character. This is an idea that just came to me last night. I don't have a "direction" as such for the story, other than she wants a new start, with new friends and away from the place where all her family died. She will likely settle down and start her own family at some point, but that's about it.

So yes. Open to suggestions for a replacement LTW (I'll use a mod to assign it) and a world to move the Immortal Fairy to. :)

Great Explorer LTW? :3 That seems challenging and will take a while to complete.

You could try something where you acheive every lifetime wish. For example, you could max every LTW skill, discover all islands, and become rich.

Huh. I hadn't considered trying to achieve every lifetime wish... that might be worth a go!

I moved her to Bridgeport last night and selected Rich as the LTW (Thank you mod files!). So I now have a base to start from :) Only gave her a small amount of cash (20K) and her laptop since she's a writer.

Glad you were able to figure it out :)!

But just an afterthought, if you'd ever get tired of Bridgeport I'd recommend Monte Vista. I picked it up in a bundle with riverview awhile ago and I've always found it incredibly charming, it feels like a World Adventures location without the travel.

That might be worth a look at some point.

I figure, since she apparently loves making drinks, going to Bridgeport to begin with might be a good idea. :) But since she's never going to age, moving again might well happen. As mentioned, I'm planning to turn it into a story, which I'll likely be putting up shortly.
