How Do I Use The Planters?

Hello.

My Sims, Danny and Riika, are father and daughter firefighters. They run out of energy during mission and Davi, Danny's brother is an alchemist. He had to go to a fire scene and give Danny the Invigorating elixir.

Now that it is winter, I need to know how to grow plants indoors. I have the Pets, Ambitions, Seasons and Supernatural extensions. Danny promised his brother that he would provide the plants for the elixir, which means they have to be grown in the house/building somehow.

First, you buy the planter pots and place theme indoors (obviously). Then you use the hand tool while still in build/buy mode to move existing plants into the pots, if you already have plants outside. When you're planting plants, you just click in the pots like you would on the ground. However, trees are too big for planter pots so you will either need to make a "greenhouse" (Put walls around the trees while they are still in the ground and put a roof on top) or leave them to freeze.
