Oh, it'd be nice to see another LivvieLove story up! Take your time, though I'm already excited now that you mentioned it. It's really up to you, although I do enjoy your stories and I'm sure I'll enjoy more from you. [Have you noticed, this is reverse psychology. Haha. Kidding]

Regarding Poncho, I tried a lot of things but I really can't make him load. He's become this invisible cat, though my sims can interact with him, I can't direct interactions myself. And because I can't see him, I haven't taken any shot.  :'( And there aren't rules in keeping them, but with the way things are, Poncho'll still be around. In some ways or another.

Everyone is, Poncho's the only one who's actually there and listening.

I'm not sure if this will help, but I've heard if you go into edit-town and "Split" the household up (with Poncho and one other Sim) then re-merge the household it should help fix them... or maybe evicting them and replacing them?
Here I was thinking that Poncho was just avoiding his cameo! You're such a good writer that I didn't even realize there was a glitch amongst us!
As for your reverse psychology, I think it might have worked. I'll likely put up something, but I really should update the Reaper's before I give myself another project to completely disappear into for several days at a time.

So, anyways, let's bring Poncho back! Because Hawke needs a friend, and I can't stand how cold everyone else is!

About that, I'm afraid it's not possible. Poncho already left, and without saying goodbye. You'll see. I was as shocked, since I'm not really the type to check out their lifespans, unless I find the need, like how Smiley Lemons was nearing elder and there's still no heir. Sorry, Livvie. And sorry to Poncho, too, for dying the way he did.  :'(

A Birthday
A Graduation, and Death

That morning, I woke up with heaviness in my gut, and a tingling in my chest. It was Synth's birthday today and Kiwi wanted some kind of celebration, just us though. The other relatives have dispersed and busied themselves with their lives that they no longer came to pester us for everything, especially with our disabled "mother" around, and only loitering around the house. We're both isolated, nobody talks to us properly.

I went downstairs and saw Kiwi making lunch. After Sil and Vesper's wedding, he thought he should at least learn the basics of cooking. I'm fine with that, so are the rest of us. Nobody really liked to order pizza, anyway.

Soon, the cake was ready, the grilled cheese sandwich somewhere in the counter, or the fridge, I don't remember which. And Synth was ready.

Karavella just stood there, watching us. I heard her thoughts faintly. She was debating whether to join us and look as stupid, or just stare. Her teen pride prevailed and just looked at us as we made party noise. It was Synth's adulthood knocking, and he excelled in school. It was just right to celebrate this passage.

I don't remember what happened after that. I passed out. When I woke up, I was in my room and Synth was trying to repair the laptop. He got into some writing, he was in the high school newspaper, I hadn't realized. His experience and previous awards was enough to make noise in the field. He wants to become a celebrated children's book author. It isn't wrong to pry just a little, is it? I just want to know his dreams, and I wouldn't with the way we are now. But if he wanted to make children happy to be happy, then I'm with him. Still, we don't talk.

I went to look for Poncho. I still can't find him. The tingly feeling isn't going away. That night I went to sleep feeling funny.

In the days that followed, Synth buried himself in writing. He almost didn't sleep, and was writing his third book, the first one in his adulthood, I think I heard him uttering something like The Potty that Sighed. Creative, but I have no idea what the story was about. I think it'll become a hit.

He only stood up to bathe, he almost didn't eat. I was becoming worried by the lifestyle he was adapting. Kiwi just seemed to let him do what he wanted. In a way, Kiwi talked to all of us less, too. This family is falling apart. We're all growing apart.

I was lobbying in the kitchen when Synth came back from his quick shower. He was going to get back to writing when his phone rang.

It was graduation day, and all of us forgot. Unbelievable

He was upset because his hair had to experience what it did.

We got ready lightning fast, and I tried looking for Poncho. I still can't find him. Everyone was headed to the mobile, except me. I looked at the house and how lonely everyone is in it.

But then, Kiwi paused and looked at me; we didn't say anything. We only looked at each other. We hadn't had this moment when Silvan graduated.

The spell ended when they honked. They were waiting for us to get in. We got there but I left in the middle of the ceremony. I felt Poncho, so I hurried out. But didn't expect to see Griffin standing by the City Hall. Dead. Poncho and Griffin dying on the same day. I don't know what to make of it. But I left, Griffin held no special spot in my heart. And I guess I'm sorry to say it.

I immediately called Kiwi when I got home, cried. Wept. Then, cried some more, and hated Poncho for leaving me, when he promised he wouldn't die. Not so soon.

Poncho, my best friend. Poncho, that little guy I hated at day 1, the same little guy who reciprocated that feeling. Poncho, I wish I'd done better, I wish I'd been a better friend. I cried, hoping for the skies to pity me and give me a second chance at our friendship. I don't know how long I stood there mourning.

When I felt more pathetic than I did the day I possessed tan-man, I went to the sink to wash my face; I hadn't expected what happened next.

Kiwi ran to comfort me.

At the end of the day, Life should ask you, "Do you want to save changes?"

PS. The Potty that Sighed wasn't a hit. It turned out to be a bestseller.  8)

Is anyone interested in this project's sims so far? I'm entertaining the idea of putting them up the swapshop.

Celebration of a New Life
and relationships

Invisible Weirdo: Someone's got a girlfriend!
Hawke: What?
Invisible Weirdo: Oh, you don't know?
Hawke: Quit fooling around. Just say what you have to say.

Invisible Weirdo: Oh, that's for later. You should probably tell me about this friendships you've been making.
Hawke: What friendships.
Invisible Weirdo: Psh. Seriously? You know. For example. The one with Kane. The Kane Kahale-Pepper, sibling to Kerri Kahale-Pepper, whom Synth is interested in, has been since prom night. Too bad she's going out with Barrett. That Barrett Grantham-Hoffman, who used to play with Rave a lot. You know, that kid with a suave gentleman's hair.

Hawke: Why this fuss about the Kahale-Pepper siblings?
Invisible Weirdo: And then there's this Leland Post, the photobomb during Sil and Vesper's wedding. Gosh, Hawke, what's with you?

Hawke: What's will all these names? I thought you were bad with names.
Invisible Weirdo: Oh, I have my ways. Don't forget Mick Wahine.
Hawke: Are you serious? The guy's my second cousin!
Invisible Weirdo: Not strictly. If there's one I'd ever recommend though, it's Delvin Strong-Chong. Funny name, though. I guess you wouldn't want to be stuck with that name for a generation. Mehehehe.

Hawke: Oh, Watcher, Please. Take this voice. It needs to leave me alone.
Invisible Weirdo: Uhuh. Uhuh. You know you'll miss me.
Hawke: I miss Poncho.
Invisible Weirdo: I know, kiddo. But this way of entertaining yourself isn't going to help. You can talk to Kiwi, or your siblings. These youngsters aren't going to understand what you're going through- even if you tell them.
Hawke: Kiwi? That jerk didn't say anything when I cried.
Invisible Weirdo: At least he's there. What do you expect, he's technically your dad.
Hawke: I hoped for a conversation.
Invisible Weirdo: I don't think it's wise to keep hounding him with your explanations and apologies. He has much to handle and think about, too. You do know he loves you, no?
Hawke: Sometimes I wonder.
Invisible Weirdo: Well, he does. A lot. Why do you think he's putting up with this mess- you suddenly becoming his daughter. And he knew from the start.
Hawke: That's what irritates me. It'd been better if he hadn't known. That his wife just went senile on him, or, whatever.
Invisible Weirdo: His silence is his way of coping. On the other hand, I think you want me to materialize or something.
Hawke: Haha, you kidding? You're cynical and crazy. Who would want you around. Stop being conceited.
Invisible Weirdo: You're saying that now, but one of these days, Hawke. One of these days.
Hawke: So, who got a girlfriend?
Invisible Weirdo: Shouldn't it be obvious by now?
Hawke: I'm dense sometimes.
Invisible Weirdo: Aye. I hate you, occasionally. Synth! Synth got a girlfriend!
Hawke: Really? Who's the lucky girl?
Invisible Weirdo: Lucky?
Hawke: Synth is becoming popular, you know. I mean, again. His books are selling well.
Invisible Weirdo: With children's books? That's interesting. I never thought you'd be superficial.
Hawke: Superficial, really? I worry about his welfare. Anyway, yeah, but he's left it awhile and went into writing under horror. A series. Flail of the South is a best seller. He's on his last in the series- Halberd in the East.
Invisible Weirdo: Cheesy stuff. Who would want to read those stuff?
Hawke: Me. And his readers.
Invisible Weirdo: Alright, alright. Kerri.
Hawke: Kerri?
Invisible Weirdo: Oh, you have goldfish memory, too. He's going out with Kerri. And it's serious.
Hawke: Wait, what?
Invisible Weirdo: Gosh, you're slow.
Hawke: But didn't you say she's going out with Barrett?
Invisible Weirdo: She has no future with Barrett. After making your Synthie fawn at her in high school and dropping him like a bomb, she actually dares, because she sees how Synth's faring.
Hawke: You're not telling me-
Invisible Weirdo: Oh, I'm telling you alright. You know what's so sad about this? She's Synth Hale's first kiss. First kiss!
Hawke: I want to faint.
Invisible Weirdo: Go on. No one will see.

Hawke: I can't. Tell me more.
Invisible Weirdo: Are you sure about that?
Hawke: Of course! This is Synth we're talking about!
Invisible Weirdo: Your call.
Hawke: I'm waiting.
Invisible Weirdo: They're engaged.

Silence.

Invisible Weirdo: Flabbergasted? Nice.
Hawke: It happened so fast!
Invisible Weirdo: Tell me about it.
Hawke: Don't tell me they married behind everybody's back.
Invisible Weirdo: Neh, he'll come to his senses.
Hawke: Where was Watcher when she was needed most?
Invisible Weirdo: It's actually her fault. Gasp! Bye, I need to go!

With that, the Invisible Weirdo disappeared.

However Kerri was and her intentions, she seemed to have a good effect on Synth. Synth started talking to the people in the house, to the extent that he offered driving lessons, to Hawke (aka Karela) no less. She kept quiet about it, since he never really brought it up.

Poncho's death made the sisters grow closer. They all had that spot for Poncho. Even Sil called often to check on them, who now has a son, Erwin. They invited the family over, with Synth driving the girls. Kiwi promised to catch up.

Invisible Weirdo: So much for a cat's death. Woops. Gotta go.

When they got there, Hawke immediately went to see Erwin after a few hugs and laughs.

Hawke: Hello, little guy.
Invisible Weirdo: Gasp! He looks so much like an Alto!
Hawke: Shut up. He's still a Hawke.
Silvan: Hey, sis. Hawke? What Hawke?
Hawke: Nothing. What is it?
Silvan: I'm making hotdogs. You might wanna go down in a bit.
Hawke: Sure, I'm coming.

Hawke kissed the munchkin before replacing him in the crib.

Invisible Weirdo: Erwin Hale doesn't sound very catchy.
Hawke: Tell me why you're being annoying again? And it's not Hale. Sil changed his last name to Alto when Griffin died.
Invisible Weirdo: Oh. Still. Erwin Alto isn't something a someone would remember.
Hawke: Right.

Silvan was making hotdogs, Hawke started to worry if the couple maintained the house as they should, with Synth acting the way he did.

In that while, Hill was busy with homework.

Hill: Nice prom photo. Why don't we have prom this year? Ugh. Oh, well. There's nobody to date, anyway. She shrugged.

A while later, she's on the phone with Ariel Lemuel, whom everybody reckons, got some woman named Lourdes pregnant.

Nobody thinks it's important for now, they don't know anyway. Some reunion it was, nothing really happened. Soon they hugged each other goodbye and went home.

Synth was immediately busy typing away.

Hawke: Hey, Synth.
Synth: Yo, kiddo.
Hawke: Erm. Erm.
Synth: Why are you squirming. What is it?
Hawke: You don't, by chance, hate me, do you?
Synth: What? No!
Hawke: Well. Erm. Good luck with your last series installment.
Synth: Thanks, kiddo. That means a lot. I mean come on, you don't talk much.
Hawke: You ignored me throughout your high school
Synth: I was, uh, hormonal. Now I'm an adult. Haha.
Hawke: What a lame excuse.
Synth: I know, I know. He reached out to ruffle her hair. Nice hair.
Hawke: Thanks. Hawke beamed. Synth was talking to her like he did with her other sisters. It was still awkward then, the driving lessons.

Hawke: So, how is it?
Synth: Hmm, what?
Hawke: Life.
Synth: This isn't going to be some philosophical argument, is it?
Hawke: Of course not. Maybe another time, you're busy.
Synth: Alright, kiddo. See you later.
Hawke: Night, night, Synth.
Synthe: Night, night.

Prom never came. At the moment, they're 2 days from aging up. And I still haven't found anyone for Hawke. I saw this really cute kid, though. He's like a Hale. I don't know his lineage. I forgot his last name, but I think he's not related to Kiwi in any way.

I found this photo, I forgot I even took it. And because I always fail to take screenshots when they unlock their lifetime wish, I opted for this instead, a showcase of their achievements, complete with a photobomb.

Next chapter will be uploaded soon.  ;)

Hale Bonding
because a proper title eludes me

Invisible Weirdo: So, what are you smiling about?
Hawke: I can't?
Invisible Weirdo: It's illegal, woman. You can't smile without a valid reason.
Hawke: You and your bad jokes.
Invisible Weirdo: I'm going to sue.
Hawke: I dare you.
Invisible Weirdo: One day you'll be surprised to see me at your front door, subpoena in hand.
Hawke: Ha. Ha. Ha.
Invisible Weirdo: Very funny. You're weird. Why do you smile when you're doing homework?
Hawke: Homework eases my mind.
Invisible Weirdo: I'm definitely suing.
Hawke: See you in court. And Hawke kept at homework, smiling stupidly to herself. Watcher wondered if it was because she was happy, or it was just that transfixed smile, blame the genes.

The household hadn't much to do, everyday was basically made of skill grinding and eating meals together. Not to forget some football together.

Invisible Weirdo: Why was nobody invited for little Erwin's birthday? The boy is adorbs!
Hawke: What are you saying, adorbs. Speak properly.
Invisible Weirdo: Well, I'm just saying. I'm not sure I should tell you, but the boy was left on the front door. Again, I'm just saying.

Hawke: Why don't you go on and tell everybody that Silvan and Vesper's got another baby boy.
Invisible Weirdo: Wow, I'm outdated?! What's his name!
Hawke: Rogelio. Rogelio Alto.
Invisible Weirdo: Wow. I'm speechless, really.
Hawke: Don't even think about it.
Invisible Weirdo: Have you ever thought about making a sit-com of your life? It would be fun.
Hawke: You even dare!
Invisible Weirdo: Well, stuff such as your house would be showcased, for the world to see. You don't like that?
Hawke: The last thing I want to happen is be robbed, thank you.
Invisible Weirdo: But I like this earth-tone! I want everyone to see! Let's feature your genius author brother/son!
Hawke: You will not.
Invisible Weirdo: He's already a celebrity for crying out loud!

Defeated, Hawke just went to play chess with Rave.

And because Hawke is as random as the invisible weirdo and their watcher, she later started reading some book. In moonlight, and some faulty outdoor light.

Invisible Weirdo: You shouldn't be reading in this dark.
Hawke: I have enough light. The book glows, if you can't see that.
Invisible Weirdo: Gods, you're unreasonable!
Hawke: Uhuh.
Invisible Weirdo: How's your garden going?
Hawke: Well.
Invisible Weirdo: You don't like conversations with me?
Hawke: Is it obvious?
Invisible Weirdo: Then you don't want me spoiling a surprise.
Hawke: Yep, yep. And yep. You can leave me alone, now

The thing is, someone's been working on somethiiiiiiing.

Hawke: Let's just go forward, why don't we?
Invisible Weirdo: Fine.

A knock on the door.

Synth: Girls?
Hill: Yeeees? The door opened.

Synth: Hey. What are you all up to?
Hill: Boys. And you should keep out.
Synth: Really? I thought someone wanted cake.
Rave: Cake? It's almost midnight, who wants cake?
Synth: Uh, the birthday girls?
Hill: Ooohh.
Rave: Of course. What do you say, alpha girl?
Hawke: What are you guys saying. What alpha girl.
Rave: I have no idea, I just read it off the Simternet awhile back.
Hawke: Uhuh.

Synth: Come on, get up, you girls. It's awkward to say happy birthday with all of you lumped together like that!
Hill: Fine!!! And the girls gave their older brother a hug.
Hawke: So, where's dad?
Synth: Asleep. He grinned.
Hill: What! That's not nice!
Synth: Who's nice?

They hurried down and saw what Synth wanted them to see, well except Hill.

Rave: Hilly, look! Synth painted us!
Hill: Oh my gosh! Wait, what. Why do I look fat in that?
Hawke: Are you serious?
Hill: Hell, yeah!
Synth: Well, forgive me, honey. If it's so unflattering to your eyes.
Hill: Aww, such a softie. Fine. I love it! Even if my heart aches looking at the extra padding around the stomach.

Kiwi: Somebody's forgetting someone!
Hill! Daddy! They huddle and hugged Kiwi, poor man.
Kiwi: Careful! I'm getting old.
Rave: You don't look your age, dad.
Kiwi: No, I am not giving you extra allowance.
Rave: Aww. She pouted.

Invisible Weirdo: Then, there's the non-talking mother.
Hawke: Leave her alone. We're all together to celebrate!

Watcher has no idea how and why these three girls blew the candle together, anyways, it worked to her favor.

Invisible Weirdo: Wewoot!

Rave: I'm an adult. Wow. I'm an adult.
Invisible Weirdo: Young adult, hon.

Hill: Omygosh! Omygosh! What happened! What trait do I gain?
Invisible Weirdo: I don't know, lovely. I'll have Watcher check that out later, we're best buds!
Hawke: Stop pretending that they can hear you.

Invisible Weirdo: You sure are smug.
Hawke: Of course, but I'm getting a haircut after this.

Everybody was busy, they failed to notice that Poncho came to set fire the party.

Excuse the randomness.  :P

PS. Synthie and Kerri broke up, I swear I had no hand in the matter. I sorta tried switching households for another game (you can very well figure out why) and the news popped up. And since it's like that, I've decided to induce the break-up (later) in this saved game. I'm not making sense, am I? But Kerri. I don't know. I feel guilty forcing Synth to Kerri because she was convenient. I suppose I'll just have to let Synth get on with his life, on his own.
