The Sims 3 Game Launcher downloads enquiry

Hi everyone, just a quick question.  When I open my game launcher and look through my downloaded/installed content a few of the items are there twice or more. Does that mean they're installed twice, using up space? Should I select one and delete it, & if I do will this mess with anything or will it be ok as there'll still be one installed?

I'll be curious to see if anyone knows about this, too.  I have the same situation, but haven't tried to do anything about it.

I have that too.  I just get rid of all of my double items.  It is not really installed twice, not quite sure why it shows up that way.

I've had this situation too particularly with multiple Riverviews. I've deleted the extra and been fine.

I have some duplicate items also and I think that at least some of them are from where I got an individual item and then later on I got a set that also included the item causing it to be installed twice.
