Thanks to everyone who made Union Cove, it's excellent, great collaborative effort! Just wanted to ask, how will the update system work?

The new File will replace the existing one on the Guide Page and so you will have to re-download the world again. The instructions are still up on how to do this from the last update.

Sniff, sniff.  I'm heartbroken.  The entire Thyme family was left out of the list!  (ok, not really heartbroken, lol)  They live on Golden Garden Promenade right across the street from the Equestrian Center on the side.  I had so much fun building their home and family, although the details are a bit off in their bio.  Yes, they are the descendants of the failed Thyme dynasty and seem to have the habit of trying for immortality again even though the chain was broken.

Mye Thyme  YA 20  Direct descendant.  Traits: Loves the Outdoors, Natural Cook, Green Thumb, Ambitious, Angler

She is level 3 in cooking although the rest of her skills were removed by Anushka when the family was placed to make it fair game play.  She is a Sagittarius who loves Classical Music, Autumn Salad and the color Pink which is the predominant color in the house.  She is employed as an Ingredient Taster and her LTW is to become a Renaissance Sim.  She is married to......

Hansome Lee  YA 9.  Traits: Genius, Handy, Eccentric, Green Thumb, Angler.  He is at skill level 4 in Logic, loves Classical Music, Hot Dogs and the color White, the secondary color in the house.  He is a Leo so they are very compatible.  His LTW is to become a World Renowned Surgeon.  He is employed as a Trauma Surgeon.

Smaull Thyme  Child 13  Traits:  Brave, Bookworm, Artistic.  He is an Aquarius , likes Classical Music, pancakes and the color White.

Beddye Bye Thyme  Toddler 12  Traits:  Loves the Outdoors and is a Virtuoso.  She love Classical Music, Grilled Cheese sandwiches and the color Pink.  Her IF is named Hesper at the moment.

Caro Thyme  Horse  A beautiful, black female who is obedient, a genius and noisy

They are a fun family to play with the majority of the surprises coming from the kids.
What?  Grannies can't play games?

Thankyou Joria :) I think everyone for S-Z was left off the list actually. There are still a lot of families missing.

Will there be a new Union Cove update with the release of Supernatural, to add new bars and an alchemy store?

We will see about that when Seasons are out, and let you all know if we decide to try and squeze more content in UC.

As far as I am aware no Sims are set to be Supernaturals by us. The game and Story Progression will set Townies to become Supernaturals depending on which ones you are allowing in the game.  :)

I have just managed to get Union Cove to work on my new computer, though it's still a big laggy. I met and married Hebe Smith to my Sim, and they adopted a little girl. Then my Sim, Balance Ravenwood, went to the library to study skills and ran into Scarlet Dreamweaver and some people called the Thymes. I knew the Thymes from somewhere but I don't know where. Beddey Bye Thyme bawled up a storm as she was hungry and I saw Mye Thyme too. This is getting interesting! ^_^

EDIT: Oh yeah, there were part of an Immortal Dynasty! Joria, I'm sorry your ID failed, but things happened. At least Mye Thyme will get a new lease on life!! Maybe one of her children will marry into my unofficial Life States Dynasty, depending on if they transform. ^_^
I play The Sims 4 for fun, so I don't care if I never end up being interviewed for the Dynasty Hall of Fame; people who play for keeps burn out too easily and don't enjoy playing the games, so I am going to not sweat the details.

I am pretty new here, but wanted to say I've downloaded the Union Cove and I think it's a great World.  All kinds of personalities from the present and the past my sim has run into.  I love the details from the trees and the beaches to the City hall and the pigeons in the court yard.  Thank you all that contributed to this world.  I'm enjoying the play in it.

Thank you for the kind words Lady Jalune.

If anyone is planning on an ID in Union Cove, don't forget a very handsome, if elderly looking, (adult), male, Giovanni Gepetto.  He comes with his son, Pietro, (longish nose, lol), who is already a level 4 or 5, can't remember which, artist.  You can have your founder's portrait done before he becomes a teen, or immediately after, and will have an inhouse artist for quite a few years.  Giovanni also makes gorgeous babies, despite his failure with Pietro['s nose.

I believe that they are meant to be Pinocchio and his maker, who is also called Gepetto, written by an Italian from the 19th Century. In the story, and countless tv and movie adaptations, Pinocchio was a wooden marionette/puppet who wanted to be a real boy. Whenever he lied (or was stressed, according to Wikipedia) his nose grew.

Gepetto and Pietro feature in version one of my ID in Union Cove.

You got it in one!  I created Giovanni and Pietro to be the owners of the toy store on Pier Fun O' Won, but we couldn't make it that way so instead of being Gepetto and Pinnochio as I intended, they became Giovanni, (high level in sculpting) and Pietro.

You can now download 24 of the 27 buildings I did and legally use them in Union Cove.  Here's the link.

https://www.mediafire.com/folder/jimwmftfbtopw/Union_Cove_Rebuilds  These buildings have quite a bit of "stuff" removed so in total it makes it less laggy in Union Cove.  The Arboretum and Vault of Antiquity are included.

Deklitch how did your ID work out here?  Was it difficult with a lot of lag or did you do just fine?  *hops over to stories to see what you wrote*

I've read your ID, and it was awesome. Oh, and anyone who knows Disney knows the story of Pinoke, as it was an animated film during the Golden Years of Walt. (It even came back in Kingdom Hearts, a video game series dear to my heart. These films named the whale that ate the dollmaker and his 'son' as Monstro.)
