Diner Doppelganger

For the second time in Twinbrook, and in completely different games, I've encountered a pair of doppelgangers (clones) hanging out in front of the Boxcar Diner. In this case, two women with the same name have different body types and are wearing different clothes. I had my sim talk to one, then talk to the other, and the result was that only one icon showed up in her relationships, switching appearance after talking to the second one. Unfortunately she's one of the very few girls my teen boy has met in school, and she's obviously not suitable for a legacy.

The first time I found a double sim in that location was when my sim found himself there.

Has anyone else noticed this bug?

That's a very strange bug.  It's never happened to me.  Have you encountered these doubles in other places or just the one time?

Two times, same place, different games. It would be easy for it to exist without being noticed, if you had no reason to go there.

Actually I had a different clone problem when inviting a chinese friend to visit SV. But that was another bug entirely.

But you haven't seen them more than once in the same game?  I'm wondering if it's something that will recur all through your game or if it just happens the one time and stops.

The first time, when it was a duplicate of the character I was playing, I deleted his double.

This time I didn't know which version of the girl was the "real one", so I left her alone and vowed to avoid her.

I do know that I'll check in front of that diner more often in case I spot more.

Happens too me to. I've seen my sim being cloned after coming back from vacation. One version was from before the vacation and the second was from getting back from it. So I've set the first one out of my house and moved it to the bin.
I don't have any other option for this.
