Hi Femfatale,

May I suggest looking into using a tv for a monitor?  Hubby and I use Vizio tvs as monitors.

I'm not sure the real difference between a regular monitor and a tv is. As when we got the tv for me, we were replacing my older monitor that was about to die.

Price wise a tv for a monitor maybe cheaper. At least when we went to replace my monitor, it was cheaper to buy a tv. And they have built-in speakers ;)

That's another thing I love about using a tv for a monitor.

Hope this helps, :)

I don't think she meant you should replace your TV, but rather that buying a monitor that IS a TV was cheaper, better and had the specifications you were looking for. I had a TV for a monitor for a long time (finally switched it to full TV after my mom got a better monitor) and it was great! You can get them in a nice quality and only have them hook up to your computer. That's what I did. My dad messed around with the cables and got me TV on it as well, but that wasn't necessary.

Sorry for the confusion. I did not mean to replace your tv. I meant to look into maybe getting a tv instead of a monitor for your computer, if you're still looking for something.
