Need help regarding skill graphics bug of sort

How do I remove that glow around that last two bars. I've installed Nraas MasterController to reset the skill but it seems like I still get that glow at skill level 1. I never had that before with my sim but it seems like it's staying. Is there a way around this or a fix for this? Thank you.

It's not a bug. If your sim is employed and has a skill as a requirement, a glow appears around the level your sim needs to be in order to get the green smiley face. I'm guessing your sim is employed in the culinary career.

Yes it and I tried to max it already and it still has that glowy thing. I don't know how to get rid of it.

You say you tried to max the skill, but did you actually succeed in reaching level 10?

Yes sir. I achieved it both via mastercontrol and manually. that level 8 you see there is just another attempt to get rid of that glowy thing. Didn't work.

You can't get rid of it. It's a feature of the game. The only way you could get rid of it is to not be employed in the culinary career any longer. If you were to join another career (say Professional Athlete) it will only highlight a different skill to show the level you need to be at to earn a promotion (well, not that you "need" to have it, but rather, it's "recommended.") Some careers don't have skill requirements (like the Business, or any Part-Time Career) so if you joined one of those you wouldn't have the glow around your skill.
