Can you turn a sim into a fairy using magic?

My main sim is a fairy and married a human sim. But I'd like him to be a fairy too. Is there a way to change him with magic?

I tried in CAS but he didn't stay a fairy when I came out of CAS. I got him to drink an elixir the red one that says restores power/magic but that didn't turn him either.

Any advice greatly appreciated. Thanks

There are two ways to do this:

1. Get a Bottled Blessing of the Fae elixir. From what it sounds like, you used Essense of Magic, which does nothing for changing life states.

2. Occasionally, you get an opportunity to turn some things into the Arboretum when you're exploring it. This op chain ends with your sim becoming a fairy.

I don't know if those fall under "magic" or not, but yeah, those are your options.

You have to be a level 10 in Alchemy to create the elixir. But, you can buy it at the consignment store.
