I just wanted to say that I had to completely remove TS3 and reinstall. My Simmies took the houseboat out and I saved and quit before they returned to port. After that, the game would crash after midnight with Master Controller in the game (just MC). I tried other lots/Sims, on land and at sea, and the result was the same. I tried other Worlds with the same results. I removed my Sims 3 folder from Documents to let it generate a new one and worlds their would also crash after midnight with Master Controller installed. I cannot say exactly that this was the reason but it was the ONLY thing I had done between it working and not working. All other Mods did not cause any issues.
Needless to say, I will never again save and quit my game while the houseboat is away from port!
