I'm working on mine and was having a very hard time enjoying it. I chose IP as I want to explore deep sea diving (pun intended
). I was finding it difficult to find a lot that was small, they are all around 20 x 30. The only ones I could find were the two in town. I moved the Collins family out to a nicer home and then moved my sim there.
That is were it got to me. I felt trapped, a house on one side and a business on the other, the park across the street. Moved it to a lot that is 20 x 30, but fenced it to the size of the lot, which was 12 x 15. I couldn't find any smaller, so I put up a fence that is 12 x 15 and that is the size that I can play with. The lot is bigger, but I am going to play that as its real size. Ocean on one side, the hills on the other side, a house that is down the road and a path to a beach area.
This is a challenge for me because I love big lots, nice size yard, pool, pond, a zen area to sit and relax; and lots and lots of rooms. Never play on a lot that is smaller than 40 x 40, unless it is a starter home.
