My dormitory mailbox/board disappeared

So, I had a lovely dormitory (used and built up over the course of playing for four terms), and I saved it to the library.  When I tried to load it into another neighborhood, I saw that the mailbox/job board was gone!

I tried again with a different dormitory, and the same thing happened.

I built a new dorm from scratch, and the same thing happened.  I could build it, and have the mailbox/job board, but as soon as I tried to place it in a new neighborhood, the mailbox/job board disappeared.  I have no idea how to get it back.

Any ideas?

BTW, I did look for it in Buydebug, but it was not there.

In order to get the job board/mailbox on non-dormatory lot you'll need to use a mod. The object is normally only available in create a world. (Link here)
