The Strangely Weird Twins

My Sims have 2 sets of twins: One male and the another female.

Lena and Alexandra are the oldest. Lena is a Sagittarius; Alex is a Leo! Lena became a teenager before Alex.

Ivan and Bohdan are the twin boys. Ivan is a Taurus; Bohdan is a Libra!

Strange things are going on in the land of the Sims!

Astrological signs appear to be randomly assigned, and serve no actual purpose except maybe for dating. I've had triplets who all have had different signs. They're not even assigned in the right season. The easiest way to handle them is to simply ignore them.

To get as close to realism as possible, i use a mod which makes twins and triplets all have same zodiac But as Shirin wrote, they don't have any purpose, other than extra factor for attraction/dating system.
It also happens for me that some twins end up one being older than the other, but it can be easily remedied by using the cake on the younger twin That way you also have extra food for the family hehe

This happened to me too. I also had two sets of twins, and they all have different signs. The signs are completely random, which is a little bit weird, but they don't serve too much purpose in the game.

Yes, multiple birth Sims definitely don't have the same Zodiac sign.  It's assigned randomly, as the others have said.  The only time I've seen where the sign of a Sim has any meaning is when one Sim asks another what his/her sign is.  If they are a compatible sign, you get an extra point on the relationship bar.  After that, I never see any benefit.  I ignore Zodiac signs, as well.
