Uh-Oh! Odine Perry had two sets of triplets and is wanting more children!

So I'm playing a CAW town called Glenvale County, which is actually amazing and perfect for my style. I tend to play a lot of different families, usually premade townies. This time, I picked out some families from the worlds I have but never use such as Bridgeport and Lunar Lakes, and used them to populate the new world. So I had Odine Perry move out of the Littler household and break off any romance with Reuben. She then started dating Kai Leiko, who had broken up with Lola Belle. So as Odine had the Surrounded by Family LW, I gave her and Kai the fertility treatment reward and soon enough, they had triplet daughters. I then went off to play a different family for a bit, and then a while later I got a notification saying they had had ANOTHER set of triplet daughters. So I went back to them, and yep, 6 daughters. The first set were still toddlers and the second obviously babies. And then, Odine gets another wish to have another child. So, as both parents have the Fertility Treatment reward, if I try for another baby, the chances are I'll get another set of triplets, or twins at least. Hmm.. I'm tempted to let them as I've never played more than 5 kids in one family before, but the house is only 4 bedrooms, so they're already going to have to have 2 girls per bedroom. I don't know if I'm going to be able to cope with possibly 9 kids.... Has anyone else ever had anything similar happen to them?

I once had a polyamorous family. Husband had two sets of triplets with his wife and another set of triplets with his other woman (who lived in the house) in rapid succession. I used cheats to keep them all happy and it was still awful.

Also, I'm assuming that you're using mods to allow for over-stuffed households, correct?

Yes, I have Twallans MC and SP mods.
But yes, it's chaotic  Keeping all 6 girls happy as well as the parents is very tiring. I don't know how people manage when they talk about having 10+ kids. I usually stick to 2-3 and have 4-5 occasionally. I'm just so surprised it was all girls too!

Okay, real tips!

Get a dollhouse and a block table. Those raise the social motive for toddlers and children playing at them. Bottle-feeding is pretty quick, and it's something you just have to do. Buy a washer and dryer so that their hygiene will be raised by changing outfits. Let the toddlers fall asleep on the floor if you have to (they'll automatically do that when exhausted).

Thanks! The first set just aged up to children now so they're easier to manage. 2nd lot will be toddlers in the next day and I think I'm going to go for another baby in a few days and pray for a single. If I get twins or more triplets... Well, I'll manage. Both Kai and Odine have wishes for another child, so I guess I'll give them what they want. Lets hope for a boy this time!

I second Trip on the block table and dollhouse. Also, once all of the toddlers have learned to talk, they can just play with their teddy bears or whatever toy from the toybox, and if they are close enough to one another they will chat with each other and keep their social motive high.

Overstuffed households are chaotic by their very nature. The most I've played at any given time was fifteen in one household, and it was rather nuts even when most of them were teens and older. Multitasking can be a bear sometimes.

So... She had twin boys. 6 girls and 2 boys and she's not even an adult yet. This will be fun :-) never played such a big family before
