i'm currently playing now and i want to take a screenshots of my house and post it in facebook
so i tried ctrl+printscreen nothing happened.....................

That is not a command for screenshots. You can either use the game's provided screenshot command (pressing "C"), or the Windows command for it if you're not in fullscreen (alt+printscreen). The former doesn't capture the game's user interface.

Using the game's screencapture function saves them to Documents -> Electronic Arts -> The Sims 3 -> Screenshots. If you use Window's screencapture, you have to open up MS Paint or another image editing program and press ctrl+v to paste the captured image into Paint and you save it wherever you want.
