Strange things happening in my game

I'm just curious if the same thing or something similar has happened in anyone else's games... It's very odd.

I'm playing a married couple in Moonlight Falls with their toddler daughter. When they were eating dinner I heard the music that plays when two sims break up/divorce. So I checked their relationship panels and they're still married, nothing changed. Later, I was putting everybody to bed and just as the time sped up automatically, a radio in the house went on. None of my sims were awake or even in the same room. There aren't any ghosts on the lot and nobody was visiting them. I just thought this was all very weird.

Looking at first case about breaking up music, I have no clue, Jamie. As I never experience something like that. But, the second case I think I know about it. Did you check around the house? If there’s a gnome, one of them usually turn the radio on or anything else that related to electronics randomly. That happen a lot in my game.

Yes, I didn't even think of that! I found a gnome in their house a couple of sim days ago and I had no idea where it came from, but that must be it. I'll check next time I open the game to see if the gnome is sitting in front of the radio. Thanks, Eldridge.

You can also have noisy neighbors. One time I was wondering where all that loud music was coming from , when all the radios in the house were off.  I visited the neighbor next house and true enough, their radio was blaring and it was beside the window.

Wow, I didn't think of that either. But it wasn't that. I figured out that it was a gnome.
