I put together a part list and I want to make sure this can play TS3 with all expansions on high settings.

Will this run well?

@TonyTajiri

Yep, this pc should do very well for Sims 3 and all it's expansions/stuff packs.

However, please keep in mind there will still be some lag, stuttering and slow downs with Create a Sim, Create a Style and build mode. Also the more content you add like store content and custom content, the more the game will lag. This is due to the way the game handles additional content. Not much can be done to speed that up, unfortunately. But it is far less noticeable on a desktop.

Thanks for asking!! :)

I was just going to make a post regarding the same question. I haven't bought a new computer is quite some time and the last I did, my grandfather built it for me so I am not really up to date with what everything means and how it will affect my playing experience.

From what I have read in regards to what a computer needs to play the sims 3 well, I think it will do, although I am terrible at making decisions and I can't say I completely trust myself.

Yep, that desktop should do well in medium to high settings for Sims 3 and all it's expansions/stuff packs.

However, I should note the disclaimer of - please keep in mind there will still be some lag, stuttering and slow downs with Create a Sim, Create a Style and build mode. Also the more content you add like store content, custom content, and mods the more the game will lag. This is due to the way the game handles additional content.
