Hi everyone, a few months ago I posted about my game refusing to load as far as the save game menu. I was sure it was the newest patch, as I had just downloaded it prior to starting the game. I removed all outdated mods and did a factory reset, wanting to avoid a full uninstall/reinstall if I could help it. I left it for a while, frustrated and finding less time to sit down and fight with it. Now it's been months and I find myself feeling the itch to play my game again.
I finished the factory reset (renaming the folder, starting the game, reintroducing old folders) but the game's still refusing to make it past the first load in screen. This led me to believe something in my CC was clashing so badly that it broke my game, so I started the slow process of elimination that is the 50/50 method. Problem is, as I divided it into halves and halves, the game works fine with all halves. But when I run it all together it dies on me again. So if anyone could shine some light on this I would greatly appreciate it. My guess is either the sheer volume of cc (is that possible?) or perhaps two or more completely different files clashing with one another. How ever, I'm not an expert, in fact I'm a complete novice regarding this stuff, so as I said before, I would love some help
info: I run windows 7, and have a cracked/downloaded copy of the sims 3 with supernatural, pets, seasons, generations, showtime, world adventures and late night expansions.
