Child Sim won't age up
« on: December 20, 2013, 07:21:36 PM »
I have aging off and I've just been aging my sims with the cake when I want to. But now her name doesn't come up as an option as to who can age up with the cake. And actually I have 7 sims in the house and only 3 of them come up for the aging option. I tried 'testingcheatsenabled *true" but that doesn't work either. I don't know what to do.

On the 'testingCheatsenabled true' cheat, did you choose 'Trigger age transition' or 'Edit in CAS' (for the CAS, you choose the next life stage)? If you did one, do the other. If you tried both, have you done the 'resetSim' cheat on them? And have you removed any 3rd custom content/mods you may have, as well? I hope this helps!

When I click my sim after 'testingcheatsenabled' the only thing that comes up is 'change outfit'. I haven't tried resetting, I'll try that. I don't have any mods on them.

You have to shift-click with testingcheatsenabled true in order to trigger age transition or enter CAS

Variosities is right, you need to shift-click them for the options to come up. Also, silly me forgot to include the proper set up for the resetSim cheat (sorry about that). All you do is pull up the cheat box, type in 'resetSim Firstname Lastname' (without the quotes and fill in the name of the Sim) and enter! Voila, your Sim is content and back at the home lot.
