Aliens and the Forbidden Fruit

I have an alien sim who spliced and planted the forbidden fruit. When I went to pick the fruit, it played through they same animation as for any sim, but then I got a surprise. The baby I adopted from the ground was not a plantsim at all. She was a pureblood alien, just like her happy mother.

It's been established that the forbidden fruit will clone the sim who picks it, but then add the plantsim occult life state to the mix. Of course, pureblood aliens lack the human sim DNA that makes occults possible. As a result, I guess I stumbled upon an accelerated route to cloning for any pureblood aliens out there.

Well, that might be because alien is not an occult. Their DNA works in a system like pureblood and the more human DNA mixed into the lot, the next generation might not be an alien anymore.
