I've been playing with an angler Gil McGinnis and he's not able to fish at the cemetery or the science building.  Has anyone else had this problem?  The cemetery has a fountain in a built pool type setting so I get no fishing option.  It's not a pond.  At the science centre he's unable to get to the fishing spot.  He just goes in a continual loop with a boat.  I don't know if I'll be able to get him the robot, vampire or death fish.  I may be able to edit the cemetery and put a pond in but not sure how to get the deathfish there.  Any Suggestions?

After purchasing Roaring Heights, I went into it and played and looked around.  I really like it.  I got all ready to play this evening and the game will not load my saved game or a new game.  I am not real happy about this right now and am starting to feel like I wasted my money.  I have never had this problem with any of my worlds or games.

I really like the world too but I'm having trouble with saving. No error codes or anything but just an endless saving 'wheel'. So I have to crash the game then restart from the last save (which isn't usually too far back). But... Very frustrating  :-\

I haven't had the chance to play Roaring Heights, but have run into problems saving. What I've done is try to get task manager (Ctrl-Shift-Esc) to come up, to end the game. Delete the cache files - ( simCompositorCache.package, scriptCache.package, compositorCache.package, CasPartCache.package) Then I restart my computer.

Then try playing and saving the game again. But instead of just saving. I'd save as, and give it a slightly different name.

Just got the world today, with the Boardwalk Venue! First time I tried to load it it didn't work, second time it did.
I have to say, I think the townies' backstories in this world are one of my favorites. I'm thinking of using the world in a dynasty attempt, possibly.

Boardwalk Venue is a bit laggy, unsurprisingly, but watching the coaster is pretty fun! But I bought the venue so I cam make my death coasters! (evil laughing insert here). But I think with a few stuff from Generations it can be really fun for kids (and for the adults Late Night bars....okay, maybe not.)

Just got my own from my sister XD XD XD

I haven't explored the world yet and still having fun with everything that the world provided but I noticed in CAS there are clothes that also from base game that labeled as store items and that makes me quite disappointed. The good thing is you can use your formal outfit as your sport wear.

I’m happy that I can get new animation that I can capture with this! Townies back stories also great but not included in their biography , I guess this is they did because not all people have Generations?

Refurbished the Fixer-Upper car. Very cool looks and loads of Sims 2-esque interactions, but it is deadly slow... literally bicycle slow. "Work On Engine" interaction still available, so I'm not sure if further engine work will increase the speed. No love so far from my (Handy) Handiness 5 Sim.
Extremely good money-maker. Bought for $350, sells from inventory for over $35,000. Also great for leveling Handiness even when completed, as there seems to be no end to Handiness interactions ("Work On Engine" and "Wax Car"... though I would have expected the "Wax Car" option to level Martial Arts :P ).
Other Sims will interact with a not-yet-fixed Fixer-Upper: I left a fresh hulk in the sorority garage at University and the sisters all pitched in to finish it off while my Sim was in class (not sure if this has any bearing on the miserable speed, as the sisters all seemed to prefer bodywork over engine repair). Combined with the high sell price, this could be very profitable (maybe brokenly so).

Update: Apparently, Sims will interact with a finished car as well. My Sim was eating at the diner when a random Townie simply popped the bonnet and started hammering away. Fortunately, although the Go To options were unavailable on the car interactions, I was able to leave the lot normally, the car vanishing from under the ersatz mechanic.

Thats so funny SilentSooYun... I wish waxing the car upped martial art level too   ;D   I sold my first completed fixer upper for loads of simoleons. I didn't work much on the engine so I wonder if not only does more work = faster speeds but also more money? Something to test out I guess.
